Jolly Phonics is a comprehensive programme, based on the proven, fun and muliti-sensory synthetic phonics method that gets children reading and writing from an early age. This means that we teach letter sounds as opposed to the alphabet. These 42 letter sounds are phonic building blocks that children, with the right tools, use to decode the English language. When reading a word, they recognise the letters and blend together the respective sounds; when writing a word they identify the sounds and write down the corresponding letters. These skills are called blending and segmenting.
In the Early Years our children spend their day inquiring and exploring meaningful learning experiences and hands on activities that help them to learn basic skills in a fun and active way with the help of transdisciplinary themes. Amazing staff with so much heart and caring mindset. It's wonderful seeing my child who is just 1.5yrs old get excited about going to daycare here. The teachers really make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualised way. The school is taking good care of my child, they are very welcoming. The teachers are friendly and for that reason my child likes to go to school. There is always a warm hug given to the kids when they enter the school by the staff. Since my child was born during the pandemic I was a bit hesitated to send her to school, now I feel happy coz she enjoys in school… thanks to the staff.
